A snappy salute for all the Marines who fought hard and even risk their lives just to serve for our country. It really made me sad or feel bad whenever I hear news na someone died in Basilan or the troupes are already there. Something like that. I always got goosebumps. I really have this thing kasi with them esp with their families who were left behind and hoping that one day, they'll come back safe and warm.
My dad kasi was once a Military Officer. And now that he is retired from the service, in some ways, thankful na din ako at hindi na siya involve with those things. Tama na cguro na nabaril siya once. Alam ko din kasi ang feeling ng isang family pag umaalis ung tatay or whoever na na-aassign sa ibang place. I actually grew up na palagi siyang wala though I understand naman na ganun talaga ung nature of work niya. Besides, doon din namin kami kumukuha ng pangaraw-araw na gastos. And im proud to say na my dad is a good leader. He never took advantage of his authority nor use his power just to "makaangat".
That's why, when I heard that The President increased their salary for about P240, parang I got pissed off talaga. Sorry for the term. I mean hello, 240 bucks na katumbas ng buhay mong nakasugal sa field. My gawd. I was just pissed kasi diba she allotted a 3-year deadline para maubos ung mga Abu Sayaff but where's the support? If ur in dire need na maubos sila, where's the new and improved choppers, more equipments, more bullets and even more guns? Kaya nga cguro andaming namamatay because we lack of those things. I think they have to make sure first na everything is in order and in place. Kaya no wonder, 3rd world country pa din tayo.
I don't know kung saan ako lulugar as a citizen of this country kung gusto ko bang matuloy ung gera or not. But as the persident herself said, we should put a stop already. Its too much. We already done our part. We even negotiate for peace talks but they just neglected it so I guess, if they want a war, then so be it.
But of course, Im really hoping and praying that someday, this will gonna end and in the near future, everything will just fall into the right place and everything's gonna be fine.
